History

With the founder’s own process as a care-giver, he identify the great needs and the importance of providing support to the care-givers of terminally ill and the person who has contracted cancer to live life to its’ fullest to handling unfinished businesses. CSG-SG is an independent and self funded organization; it provides services such as financial aids to needy families without any obligations except going through interviews on the needs of the individuals or family. It paces its’ clients to discuss on the sensitive issues on death & conscious dying as well as providing bereavement support thereafter.

The founder has years of working experiences working with elderly, children with special needs, dysfunctional family, couple issues, conflict resolution etc.  He also armed with special module on death & conscious dying with Australasian Palliative Care Training Centre, Australia, Brisbane in 2004, Organizing Successful aging (NP-2003) Counseling Psychology, ACAP-AU (2004) trained in hypnosis, NGH-USA 2006, instructor in hypnosis, NGH-USA, 2007, Pain Management (NGH-USA) – 2007 & Instructor for suicide intervention & Prevention (2007) .

  Why this support group is formed?

Established in 2008, Cancer Support Group (CSC-SG) is formed to provide support to caregivers of cancer patients and cancer patients.  Cancer support group aims to be a supporting arm for care givers and patients during the psychological process of uncertainty, fear, loss & anxieties etc.  This support group is self funded and funded by its’ other business entities.

  Objectives

1. Provide psycho-social support to caregivers & beneficiaries.
2. Provide finance aides to family who has members battling cancer of different kinds
3. Restoration of love, wholesomeness, diminishing fear & uncertainty.

  Approving committee

The approving committee is formed to assess applicants of funds from needy family or single individual who has cancer.  Funds as follows:

  1. Transportation: Base on the number of outpatient treatment for chemotherapy or radiations.
  2. Monthly token: Depending of the family’s financial status
  3. One time token
  4. Dried rations such as staple food rice, noodles or items needed by beneficiaries
  5. Pro-sure plus (20 packets per patients)

The approving committee includes 5 members as follows:

  1. 01 Medical Professional
  2. 01 Counselor cum social worker
  3. 02 Non medical professionals
  4. 01 SIP Gate Keeper

A group of dedicated friends who are compassionate on reaching out, touching lives formed this sponsorship team.
CSC-SG is independent group within Hypnosis Training Asia & is self funded and funded by its’ other business entities.
